Air Europa introduces flight to Uruguayan capital

Air Europa, the third largest airline in Spain will launch flights from London to Montevideo. The new service will be operated three-times-a-week and will be commenced on 3rd June this year.


The Spanish airline will operate a 229-seater Airbus A330 that includes 24 business class seats that are designed to provide and enhance maximum privacy and comfort. This new route to be launched will be a gateway for UK leisure and business passengers who travel to Montevideo and the stylish coastal resorts of Punta del Este and Jose Ignacio.

For the travellers flying from the UK, flights with Air Europa to Uruguay’s capital are planned to ensure rapid connections departing from Gatwick Airport at 17:15 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays via the Spanish capital touching down in Carrasco airport the next morning.

However, the return flight from Montevideo will depart at 11:45 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
