TAME, the flag carrier of Ecuador is all set to start flight to New York in the third quarter of 2013.
The new flights will be operated from airlines’ base at Quito.
According to sources, TAME will start services with six flights a week on the route. The new routes will be served by A320 and A319s aircrafts. The airline will increase the services to daily during peak seasons.
The national carrier of Ecuador has applied for a two year permit and has also made request for temporary exemption till it US authorities gives it an effective permit
The flights will be operated from newly opened Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito.
The introduction of flights to New York will benefit the passenger travelling on this route besides giving a boost to the trade opportunities.
