Delta Airlines plans to strengthen its flight schedule at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) by adding one new destination and expanding its schedule on four others. All these new flight services will start from 10th June 2013 and will be operated by Delta Connection affiliates SkyWest on Bombardier CRJ regional jets.
The new destination will be San Jose CA, which will soon get four daily round-trip flights on 65-seat Bombardier CRJ-700 jets. Delta flies nonstop to about three dozen cities from LAX hub and will add 12th daily round-trip flights to San Francisco and fifth daily round-trip flights to Phoenix.
For both Oakland and Sacramento destinations, Delta will add a fifth round-trip flight. The carrier will also switch to bigger aircraft on both the routes and moving to 76-seat bombardier CRJ-900 jets. Delta affiliates SkyWest four daily round-trip flights on both routes with 65-seat CRJ-700s.
