Air China, the flag carrier of the People’s Republic of China has launched flights to Houston. It is airlines’ fourth destination in the US and its fifth in North America.
The airline made it maiden flight to Houston on Thursday (11 July 2013). The airline will now fly between Beijing Capital International Airport and Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport four times a week.
The airline will operate the route using a 777-300ER aircraft. As per the schedule, the flights will departs Beijing at 1500 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, arriving in Houston at 1540 the same day. On the return journey, the flight will depart Houston at 0100 on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays, arriving back into Beijing at 0450 the next day.
The launch of new flights will act as a cultural, social and economic link between these two great cities. This new services are part of AirChina’s expansion plan.
