Turkish passengers who want to visit Dar es Salaam have some reasons to cheer as Turkish Airlines has announced to introduce daily flights to Dar es Salaam from June. The new flights will connect Dar es Salaam to Turkish capital Istanbul.
A source from the airline said that since launch of flights between these two destinations three years ago the number of passengers on Istanbul-Dar es Salaam route has increase significantly.
Turkish Airline is currently operating five flights a week on this route. The airline also has flights from Kilimanjaro to Istanbul via Mombasa. The increase in flights between these two destinations will cater to the increasing passenger traffic on this route. The increase in number of flights will facilitate tourism and business opportunities in these two countries.
Turkish Airlines which is ranked among the top 10 in the world is second only to Lufthansa and Air France in Europe.
