Proflight Zambia, a Lusaka based airline, has announced to launch three weekly flights to Dar-es-Salaam.
The launch of flights from Lusaka to Dar-es-Salaam will provide leisure and business tourists with more options.
Dar-es-Salaam will be the second international destination for the airline. Previously this Zambian airline had launched flights to Lilongwe in June. The airline has announced to launch flight to Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania starting on October 23.
As per scheduled the flights will leave at 08:00 hours on Mondays and Fridays and arrive Dar-es-Salaam at 12:20 hours.
On the return the flights will depart at 13:00 hours same day to reach Lusaka at 15:20 hours.
The airline will operate an extra Lusaka-Dar flight on Thursday, October 24 to mark Independence Day.
The flights will be operated using a 29-seat Jetstream 41 aircraft.
The airline is also planning to launch flights to Harare in Zimbabwe, Tete in Mozambique and Johannesburg in South Africa. Regulatory approval for these flights are yet to be attained.
