TransAsia Airways, one of the leading airlines in Taiwan, is all set to launch regular flights to Chiang Mai, Thailand. The airline is aiming to take benefits of huge demand as the summer vacation approaches.
The airline will launch Chiang Mai flights from July 3.TransAsia will offer two round-trip flights on Taipei- Chiang Mai route every week, one flight on Wednesday and the other on Saturday.
The airline will serve this route using an A321-131 aircraft.
TransAsia has been flying to this destination using charter flights to Chiang Mai since 2010. The demand for a flight to Chiang Mai is always high as it is hot vacation spot for Taiwanese tourists.
With the launch of flights Chiang Mai TransAsia will be flying to second regular scheduled Thai destination. The airline has already launched service to Bangkok in March.
