Wizz Air, a Hungary based low cost air carriers has inaugurated direct flights to Stockholm. Now passengers from Skopje can fly directly to Stockholm. The flight was inaugurated on Friday.
Now passengers from Macedonia can fly to Stockholm every Monday and Friday.
The introduction of new flights on this route is a part of initiative for the development of air traffic in this region. , a release of the Ministry of Transport and Communications has said.
Since Wizz Air, a Hungarian low cost carrier bagged the Government’s international tender, aimed to attract European LCCs (low-cost carriers). The airline has launched a number of route that flights from Skopje to Milan (Italy), Dortmund and Munich (Germany), Eindhoven (The Netherlands), Malmo (Sweden) and Basel Mulhouse (France).
The start of these new services will benefit the passengers flying on this network.
