RwandAir, the flag carrier of Rwanda is scheduled to launch its maiden flight to Juba this weekend.
The first flight from the RwandAir will arrive in Juba the capital of South Sudan on 21 September.
The airline has decided to launch three weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The launch of flights on Kigali – Juba route is expected to attract passengers from both ends.
The airline has decided to operate these flights using Bombardier CRJ 900NG.
With the launch of flights Juba has become the fifth destination since the airline was rebranded in 2009.
RwandAir is one of the fastest emerging airlines in the region that offer flights to neighbouring countries from its main base at Kigali International Airport in Kigali.
With the launch of new flights on this route the passengers flying on this route would have more options.
