Malaysia Airlines, which is the government-owned flag carrier of Malaysia, has announced that the passengers taking flights with Malaysia Airlines will have the privilege to take delight in an extra ten kilograms free baggage allowance in every class.
Travellers flying with Economy Class will be given 30 kilograms standard baggage allowance, Business Class passengers will receive 40 kilograms and First Class travellers will be entitled to 50 kilograms.
Yuzrizal Mohd Yusuf, Malaysia Airlines’ Area Manager UK & Ireland, commented, “Passengers travelling on flights from London Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur will be provided the revised checked baggage policy which is a great bonus for the UK and Irish passengers. The flights will be operated by double daily A380 service.”
The airline is also planning to reduce its excess baggage charges for travelling in all classes. The new system will be brought to practice with effect from 14th February, 2013 irrespective of those tickets that were issued previously that reflect the original lower free allowance.
