Garuda, Indonesia’s flagship carrier is all set to commence flights to Osaka by October. The soon to be introduced flights on Osaka-Jakarta route is part of the airline’s international expansion strategy and also shows Indonesia’s growing interest in Japan.
The announcement of this effect was made by Garuda President and CEO Emirsyah Satar.
The number of tourists from Indonesia to Japan has increased significantly and has crossed 100,000. The rapid economic growth of Indonesia could be a reason for rising exodus to Japan and its various destinations that attract tourists with their amazing culture and lip-smacking delicates.
Besides offering these services, this flag carrier of Indonesia also offers services to Bali from Narita and Kansai International Airports, in addition to daily flights to Jakarta from Narita. The soon to be introduced flights to Osaka will fly four times a week.
The airline is planning to add 3 new global destinations to the list of current 19 destinations.
