Etihad and Alitalia to add more flights to Rome

Alitalia and Etihad Airways, which are also codeshare partners, have announced to increase direct flights to Rome.


The airlines’ will now increase the services to five flights a week from present four.

The services will be operational from June 13. The increased Rome-Abu Dhabi return flights will be operated by Alitalia with A330 with a seat capacity of 230.

Previously the airlines’ had launched non-stop services between Rome and Abu Dhabi in last December.


The flights have been scheduled to provide seamless connection in Abu Dhabi and Rome to and from cities in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and the cities of Indian subcontinent.

The increased number of flights will boost the tourism and business potentials of both these destinations besides offering great options passengers flying on this network.
