Garuda Indonesia, the flag carrier of Indonesia has broadcasted flights from London Gatwick to Jakarta. It has confirmed that the new route to be launched will offer the first direct service between the United Kingdom to Indonesia before 2013 ends.
The airlines provides also operates flight services to the French capital, Moscow, Manchester, Athens and Muscat.
The new route to be started will operate flights six-times-a-week between the Indonesian capital and London Gatwick deploying brand new Boeing 777 airliner that offers First Class, Business Class and Economy Class.
The new service was greeted by British Prime Minister, David Cameron. He stated, “We want to associate Great Britain with the fastest growing economies in the world and it is significant that we have good links to achieve the same. The new route to be commenced from London to Jakarta will prove to be beneficial for British businesses and will help them to gain a competitive edge in the global race.”
