Air Berlin, the second largest airline of Germany has broadcasted that it will launch flights to Bucharest and Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The German airline has come to a decision that it will take to the air to both capitals once a day. As a result, the airline continues to expand its eastern European route network from the airline’s hub based in German capital.
Mohammed Nasir, Airberlin Area Manager for Eastern Europe said, “We are extremely pleased to have inaugurated the routes from the German hub to Bucharest and Sofia. With the introduction of new flights to both European capitals, we’re offering nine destinations to the customers in Central and Eastern Europe from Berlin.”
He further commented, “We take pride in greeting the travellers in the German capital from Bucharest and Sofia can acquire an access to our international route network through our hub.”
The airline will also include the Polish capital starting from 23rd March, 2013 to its network.
