Air Europa starts extra flights for Dominican Republic

Air Europa increases its flights to Santo Domingo from 1st April 2013, following Iberia’s move to axe the Spanish Caribbean from its route network. The Barcelona-based airline will now increase its flights to 14 to Dominican Republic. The whole service will be operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft, with 24 business-class seats which represents a doubling of Air Europa’s schedule. From the UK, passengers can fly from Gatwick via Madrid to the Dominican Republic.


British Airways (BA) scheduled twice weekly flights from London Gatwick to Punta Cana will now increase to 3 times per week on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday commencing from October 2013. British Airways will use a three class, 280 seats Boeing 777 aircraft with 40 Club World Class seats, 24 World Traveller Plus and 216 World Travellers seats.

TUI Travel PIC will re-commence direct flights from Gatwick to Samana for summer 2103. The service is scheduled to begin on 9th May 2013 and last flight will be on 31st October 2013.
