Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is all set to launch daily flights to Sao Paulo from August 1, 2013.
Currently, the airline is operating three flights a week on Abu Dhabi-Sao Paulo route.
The airline had launched flights to Sao Paulo, which is also airlines’ first destination in South America. The additional flights are introduced keeping in view the success of the existing service and huge demands from the business and leisure tourists.
With the introduction of new services, the airline will provide 3360 seats per week between Abu Dhabi and Sao Paulo that will provide tourists with increased options.
The airline will operate the flights with ultra-long range Airbus A340-500 aircraft with a seating capacity of 240 passengers that includes 12 in Diamond First Class, 28 in Pearl Business Class, and 200 in Coral Economy Class.
The increase in number of flights will strengthen the trade and tourism ties between these destinations.
