Soon passengers travelling to port city of Chittagong in Bangladesh would have more flying options as Malindo Air will launch thrice weekly flights to Chittagong from Jan 2, 2014.
With the launch of Kuala Lumpur – Chittagong route the airline will be flying on its second route to Bangladesh.
The airline will serve these flights by a new Boeing 737-900ER. The launch of flights to Chittagong in Bangladesh is part of airline’s long-term plan to make Kuala Lumpur its regional transit hub.
With a population of over 6.5 million the port city of Chittagong is second largest city in Bangladesh and commands great historical importance. Nowadays Chittagong is also known as commercial capital of Bangladesh and launch of flights to this destination will boost business and tourism of Bangladesh.
Malindo Air flies to 16 destinations with a flight size of 9.
