Qatar Airway, the flag carrier of Qatar has announced to launch flights to Cyprus. This one of the leading Gulf carriers will start flying to Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus from 29 April 2014.
The airline will operate four flights a week to Larnaca. Qatar Airline will serve these flights using an Airbus A320, with two-class configuration that includes 12 seats in Business Class and 132 in Economy Class.
Beautifully situated on the southernmost coast of Cyprus, Larnaca has always been a tourists’ favourite with its beautiful waterfronts, scenic views and scintillating beaches.
Larnaca is the first destination of Qatar Airways in Cyprus.
The airline will fly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays on this route. As scheduled the flights will depart Doha at 0810 hrs to arrive Larnaca at 1200 hrs. The return flights will depart Larnaca at 1410 hrs to arrive Doha at 1745 hrs.
A large number of tourists flock to Larnaca to explore its several attractions that include ancient city of Kition, Larnaca Fort, Larnaca Salt Lake Hala Sultan Tekke (Grand Mosque), Church of Saint Lazarus and Europe Square.
